The agrochemicals division represented 56% of its sales.
Drokasa Peru informed through a statement that it sold its agrochemical division to the multinational Duwest, a Central American company based in Guatemala and specialized in the handling, manufacture and sale of supplies for the agricultural industry.
Thus, the agrochemicals division accounted for 56% of the total sales of Drokasa. Among the products that this section offers are insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, growth regulators, nutritional, among others. In addition, it also has its own brands, exclusive representations, and provides packaging, storage and distribution services to other national and international companies in the sector.
The division, now owned by Duwest, has a plant and a liquid distribution center.
On the other hand, after the sale, Drokasa keeps its division of household cleaning products, which operate under the DKasa brand and represent 27% of its total sales. It also maintains the personal care unit through brands such as Zensex and Gents.
“The transaction was conducted by SUMMA with the legal advice of Estudio Rubio, Leguía, Normand by the sellers and Estudio Lazo & De Romaña Abogados by the buyers,” the statement said.
